I have to hype up our experience at Stormcloud Brewing Company when we went to Michigan for a wedding! This is not a sponsored post or a collaboration or anything. I just LOVED our time at this place and feel like it has to be shared. The ambience, the employees, and the food were all top notch in my opinion. Located in Frankfort, Michigan this would be a fun stop if you are taking M-22 and doing a scenic route.
We were walking the cute strip of boutiques and knick-knack stores before the wedding and saw there was a line ready for this place to open. The line went super quick and we snagged a table right away when they opened at 11:30am. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful the entire time. I also loved that there were indoor and outdoor tables (with a covering overhead) so you can enjoy the weather.
Our appetizers were delicious with popcorn and pretzels. They have multiple choices for popcorn which is so cool! Choices are real butter and sea salt, honey and siracha, frank’s hot sauce and blue cheese (would have been my choice if others in my family liked hot sauce) , and truffle oil and fresh parmesan. YUM.
The beer was just as good! They actually won a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival 2020 for one of the beers I tried. This one was called 228 Tripel! It is 8.5% and you can get it in a 4oz, 12oz, 32oz crowler, or a 64oz growler.
I enjoy nachos quite a bit, but they can be gross sometimes. This is a brewery where you mostly go for the drinks and I was surprised when their food was much better than the typical bar food. The nachos I had here were the best I have ever had hands down. They are also appealing to the eye which is shocking for nachos. They were full of flavor and I loved the ratio of toppings and chips. I crave these quite often haha.
I also enjoy that they let you know which beers pair nicely with what you order!
The pizza was a big hit amongst our group as well! They looked so good and not a typical pizza from a pub once again. My sister had the “Rider on the Storm” pizza and said the apples were actually delicious on the slices. My mom ordered the Caprese pizza. Both of them really enjoyed the flavors!

If you’re visiting the area May-October I highly recommend also checking out the farmers market! The farmers market goes from 9am-1pm every Saturday and is inside November-April. I found the cutest wooden plane from there for Cal and he plays with it all the time!
