Halloween is next month!
Time is going way too fast. I am sharing our Halloween costumes from last year for anyone who needs some inspo! These costumes could work for couples as well instead of a family! Calihan was an astronaut, I was “space” or “stars” either one worked, and Lyall was dressed up as a NASA control center employee.
My dress is from ASOS and they have plenty of options! I loved the comfort of this dress and I received quite a few compliments! I curled my hair and used my Naked Palette from Urban Decay for my makeup. The pretty galaxy colors worked perfectly. I would have went more all out for my makeup – but I am a mom and washing my face is already a chore haha. Makeup palette is linked below – I still use some of the colors most days!
Calihan wore an astronaut costume and loved his plush space shuttle! The costume is from Amazon and there are many different options. We opted to have him wear his black Nikes to complete the outfit. He also seemed comfy all night and it kept him warm as the night cooled down!
Lyall was super easy! He wore his collared shirt and pants that he already had in his closet and then added a hat, NASA socks and a headset! All of these were also from Amazon! There are multiple versions of the hat but I really like the all black look. His socks were comfy and he can wear them whenever so that helps as well. I would have picked different shoes, but Lyall loves these shoes.
I love putting together simple and cute Halloween costumes! This family costume cost us just under $100 for the entire thing. I know the costs can add up so finding cheaper ways to put a costume together always helps! I hope this helps give you inspo for your own costumes this year!
