How I Make my Açaí Bowl

Healthy morning breakfasts always put me in a better mood for the day. I enjoy smoothies, so making an açaí bowl is one of my favorite things to make.

My most recent bowl didn’t survive the Texas heat very well – even in the early morning, but yoga by the pool and then a healthy treat can really jump-start my Monday. The trick is to have the base be very smooth and thick! Remember- the point is to eat it so if the items fall and mix, it is ok!

Recipe:

Step 1: blend together

1 frozen banana, 1 cup of frozen mixed berries (the color will depend on what you choose), 1/2 almond milk,
and 2 tbsp of açaí

Step 2: put the mixture in a bowl once blended smoothly

Step 3: add toppings

I personally love strawberries, raspberries, coconut flakes, granola, blueberries, and then honey on top. I occasionally will add bananas as well.

blackberries
apples
mangos
pineapple
peanut butter
almonds
dark chocolate chips
chia seeds
